hello guys! (and Darren) just got home from the second show!....it was fantastic ( as was the first! ) Luck was on our side from the very start. We were sitting during the support act ( well- i was out having a smoke- but u get the idea) and were approached to swap seats with some photographers. We were upgraded to FRONT ROW!!!!- so we were front row both nights. During the second verse of I DROVE ALL NIGHT Cyndi sat in front of me and sang directly to me- so i winked at her- and she gave me a wink and cheeky smile, which of course made me blush, but hey- who wouldn't! she performed a lot of songs from Shine- Eventually both nights, Madonna Whore was added for the second night. Also IHTBM and Shine both nights. The second show she added trumpet to Time After Time ( local Melbourne player) and it sounded a lot like the Miles version- it was so beautiful! and the best part- she pulled Darrens daughter out of the audience for Girls.. and she danced on stage with Cyndi for the whole song! When i met Cyndi i was very nervous and let Darren do all the talking. i had given her flowers during the week- when Darren did his radio interview- so i told her who i was, and thanked her for the song Eventually ( my fav. )...after we had our picture taken i tripped over a glass coffee table ( i beleive glass and coffee tables should never mix- its just asking for trouble! ) anyway- thought id share!.. great to meet you Scott- u are a really lovely guy- and thanks Darren- for everything! ed --- Darren DSL <dmurrell-swiftdsl.com.au> wrote: > Hi Fearless family, > > Well, Cyndi's first Melbourne show has been and > gone.
