Subject:  A Part Hate Author:  Christopher Haase <crittah2003-yahoo.com> Date:  28-Jun-2004 15:19:35 I seem to remember Cyndi saying in an interview once that she either originally wrote or  intended to write "A Part Hate" for the True Colors album.  She was unable to do it for True Colors because the record company said that it didn't sound like a song that the "girl who just wants to have fun" would sing.  I don't know when or where I heard that, but I remember hearing that somewhere.  I think it was a song that she had in her for a long time and was finally able to bring it out with Hatful of Stars.  That's one of the reasons, Hatful of Stars is probably still my favorite Cyndi album.  Even though it might sound dated now, that CD was such a revelation for me.  Christopher
