Heya Lauper Loopies (LOL). When I was around 4-7 years old, I have developed a strong romantic attraction toward Cyndi. I dont know if some of the fans felt this way. She was like the first girl in my life (haha) and she somehow gave me a different perspective on what beautiful is (I thought as a boy that it would be cool to have a girlfriend who looks like Cyndi and who is as colorful as her...blue lipstick, shaved pink head, earings everywhere). I was heart-broken seeing Cyndi's video IDAN when she appeared nude in some of the scenes (I didnt see the artistic side of it when I was a kid) and making love with another man. I even had this eroneous belief that Cyndi was still a virgin at that time (lol...I grew up in a conservative society wherein virginity is of prime importance). I remember my father telling me while watching IDAN video, "Someday, son, you will experience that too" LOL.

About the Nina Hagen mention by Cyndi. I think that was when Cyndi was the guest VJ of MTV wherein she played music videos of Nina, Grace Jones, Paul Young, etc.

That's all. Have a CYNful day to all of ya. Peace. By the way, is Cyndi pro-war or anti-war?

CYNserely,

Sonny:)
